Shingle tabs are those L-shaped hooks that have a base that is usually attached to a surface for full support. Basically, these types have the capacity to accommodate C7 to C9 bulbs, which are actually what are commonly used for Christmas lights. All you have to do is slide the lights and wires under the hook on the shingle and then leave the other side of it with the hole facing upwards. Now to adjust the position of the lights and slide your lights and bulbs into the hole in order to hold it in place.
